I came across this weird post on LinkedIn the other day. It was a video of four girls dancing in uniforms at an expo, and the caption was something like, “Dancing is part of my brand, and my friends like it too.”
What’s weird about it?
Not the girls.
Not the dancing.
Just that the person claimed dancing was her “brand”, even though there were no other dance videos on her feed in the past year. Talk about being remembered for the wrong reasons!
So here’s the deal about branding: it’s more about action than words. Dancing once doesn’t make a brand, consistency does. Building a strong brand is tough and challenging but doable!
Now, let me share some cool ways to make an awesome brand that people will adore – no dancing required, I swear!
Treat your brand like a person and figure out its values, quirks, and vibe. Make sure everything you do, from your website to social media, reflects that personality.
Consistency is so important that I have to repeat it here. It is key when it comes to building a strong brand. Make sure your brand identity is consistent across all platforms and channels.
Use the same logo, fonts, and colours across all channels. Make sure your messaging is on point, too. People should know what you stand for.
One of the best ways to build a strong brand is by creating valuable content that your target audience will love.
Create blog posts, videos, infographics, or social media content your audience will love. Be informative, engaging, and relevant to establish trust and authority in your industry or niche.
Reply to comments, answer messages, and be accessible. Ask for feedback, and show that you value their input. Build a community around your brand!
Team up with others by collaborating with brands and influencers who share your values and goals. Expand your reach and attract new followers by working together.
